TechHub opens its doors in Madrid

New strategic startup space for tech entrepreneurs in Spain

Drawing on Spain’s exciting tech startup scene and its wealth of talent, TechHub, the global home for tech entrepreneurs, has opened its doors in Madrid. The launch adds impetus to TechHub’s continued growth across the globe and quickly follows the recent opening of a new TechHub London just last week.

TechHub helps its members grow their companies through a comprehensive programme of events and support, access to key contacts and collaboration opportunities as well as meeting and work space. The TechHub event schedule is specifically designed to help technology entrepreneurs get better, faster and events range from VC coffee mornings, where members meet and greet local venture capitalists, to the famous TechHub Tuesday Demo Nights, which bring members together to share their products on the same night each month, all over the world.

TechHub Madrid is based in Google’s newly-launched Campus Madrid making it an ideal space for the technology community to network, develop and build companies that will change the world. TechHub aims to help young technology companies think globally from the start and maximise their growth.

Existing TechHub members from across the globe will be able to access TechHub Madrid, and Madrid members can drop in anywhere too. TechHub will also be bringing investors and others from outside Spain to meet with its members in Madrid plus offering those members opportunities in other cities. With a strong presence in Europe’s major tech cities, as well as newly launched sites in London; Boston, US and Bangalore, India, TechHub’s international network provides members with the opportunity to be wherever their business needs.

Andrew Tibbitts, global COO, TechHub says, “We are thrilled to be opening the doors at TechHub Madrid. The new space not only adds to our strategic locations for members around the world, it brings together like-minded people. Google may have started in a garage but we believe tech entrepreneurs today don’t have to be isolated. With an exciting collaborative environment and networking opportunities every day, we anticipate TechHub Madrid members will scale-up faster and more strongly. Our purpose-built facilities in the world’s largest startup ecosystems enable businesses to think globally from the start.”

Tech entrepreneurs interested in TechHub Madrid can apply for membership, book a tour, sign up for news and follow @TechHubMadrid on Twitter.
